Designing you parade float

Decorating

Please ensure all parade floats are cleaned and decorated. The expectation is that floats should also follow the parade theme for parade viewers enjoyment. ***The General Rule of thumb is: If it can be seen on the street that way every day-It needs a bit more.

Any non-decorated Antique, Vintage, Muscle or Street Rod/Hot Rod in their original style. MUST be a minimum of 25 years old, in good running condition and carry make and vintage identification visible to the public. Persons in vehicles dressed in attire appropriate to the period portrayed adds curb appeal.

Parade entries should bring value to the audience and therefore need to be of quality, be family friendly, entertaining and must carry a message of goodwill.

Come Prepared

We are asking registrants to take the best picture of your float and upload it on our Facebook Parade page.  You can do this while you are in the line up waiting to go. If you are unsure of how to do this, there will be many people in line who will be more than happy to help, just ask.

We will tally the votes at the end of the day and contact the winners.

We will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place baskets to award. All the items in the baskets have been graciously donated.

*This is voluntary. If you don't want to take part in the voting, you don't have to. We do this because we just love to find ways to get your advertising out there.*

Last, but not least

It is the parade registrant's responsibility to inform All of your participants of the rules. (attached)

You might pick up an extra person at the last minute (a neighbor's child etc.) to help with candy, and they need to be informed of the correct procedure.

Please keep in mind that if you have candy or promotional products for the crowd. It must be handed out at the curb. It can not be thrown from the vehicle. This is a safety measure that we must follow.
